SAHUT Perdana is actually a name for the first batch of Form 4 Sekolah Menengah Sains Hulu Terengganu. This name was given by the great caretaker of Sekolah Menengah Sains Hulu Terengganu, En. Mohd Rafi Bin Omar. Literally, the Malay word 'Perdana' equals to 'Prime' in English. I don't know if you noticed, but the word 'Perdana' is actually quite a positive name for us in Form 4 2011.
Even the newspapers and the television, we often heard the word 'Perdana' is used to describe the highest seat in an organization. As we all know, the highest seat of an organization refers to someone important, who can change the image of the organization. As an example, the President of United States of America, Barack Obama, made few changes to America when he became the Prime Minister. Even our Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia made few changes to make Malaysia be a better place. I believe trying to find the relationship for the word 'Prime' and the word 'Changes' is actually quite simple. En. Mohd Rafi Bin Omar is demanding us SAHUT Perdana, that functioned as the first batch of SAHUT, to work harder in order to make SAHUT well known for brilliancy in academic, good at curriculum activities and great in personality.
